Maple Story Warrior Guide

So you have downloaded the game, logged in and are on the world select screen. You like the look of a certain server's symbol so you choose it? No. Lets start off with choosing a server.

Choosing a server
There are currently 8 servers, each with the same world but different people. There are:

Bellocan, Broa, Bera, Windia, Scania, Kradia, Mardia and Khaini.

Highly populated
These servers are good places to be if you like to make friends. To go in these you need a fairly good computer, and is a good place to go if you like working with others. You can easily enough have fun, but there may be too many people to compete with in places that are populated where you might want to train.

The servers here are:

.Windia
.Scania
.Bellocan
Average servers
No server is truly average. But this is an ideal place to go when you want to make friends at an average rate, be able to hunt monsters on your own, and has both the advantages of highly populated and low populated servers without the disadvantages. But as with all hybrids, it is not as specialised and if you want to get a party you might not always.

These servers are:

.Broa
.Bera
.Khaini (Below-average)
Quiet servers
These servers are good for solo characters, and is small and friendly, only at peak times is there any chance of latency.

You will excel at training from level 1-25, but party quests and monster kills of higher levels are rare. It gets lonely when you have only a few buddies to train with.

The servers here are:

.Mardia
.Kradia
Choosing stats
This is a warrior guide, so you should just follow the instruction here, but in the end, it is all up to you.

You have chosen a server, right? Well click on create character and you will see a screen with a character in the middle.

You can choose hair, face, trousers, top, weapon and boots. But the face and hair cannot be changed later except by the means of real life money, so don't choose one that makes you look like a hobo.

On the other side, the right, you can choose a name. Make it original and rememberable, just so people who see you will know you. Now the final part. You can't type your stats but yo roll a dice to decide. Don't worry, it isn't important to get it on your first try. You can do it as many times as desired.

But you want to roll a:

.X in Strength
.X in Dex
.4/5 in Intelligence
.4/5 in Luck
This is because warriors dont use dex or luck. AT ALL. When you level up, don't put any points in to them, or HP or MP because they are naturally high.

When you level up make sure that you get your strength to 35 first, that is your priority. Nothing in to dex AT ALL either.

Once strength is 35, make sure dex is twice your level. So once you are level 10 it should be 20, and once you are level 60 it should be 120,

though after level 60 dont raise your dex above 120, as you are now accurate enough. Any more accuracy is give by armour and potions.

Put everything else in to strength.

Training spots
Level 1-8

Yay! You began! Now to train.buy maplestory mesos Do quests that you find by double clicking on people, and train on the following monsters:

(Press CTRL to attack)

Snails, blue snails, red snails, shrooms, yellow mushrooms

Level 9

Olav's quest, DONT GO ABOVE LEVEL 10. This quest is found on victoria island and is easy.

Once you get to level 8, go to victoria island via southperry, on the boat with captain midget.

Go to perion in a taxi, once you get the quest from Olav, and talk to Dances with balrog in the building at the top of perion.

Then talk to him, and if you are not level 10 with 35 strength or more then he wont let you be a warrior. Get to level 10 and talk to him.

Congratulations! You are a warrior!

Level 10-17

Warriors hit a lot without MP, so try to avoid buying MP potions. Train in henesys, just to the left. There is a lot of people there, try training on the slimes at

the second floor, or at lower levels, the snails and shrooms. You can do the orange mushrooms too.

Level 18-22

Go to Kerning city, one map left, and go in to the construction scaffolding where monsters will be. At the top there is Octopi,

And nearer the bottom mushrooms, stumps and snails. Right at the bottom, where the mushrooms lurk; there is a chance that you may run in to an enemy far stronger- The Slime King! He will hit you a lot and has about 1000 HP, so beat him down with all your might if he does appear and you will be rewarded with cakes that are worth about 1000-3000 meso each, and about 5 of them at least. Plus 180 experience :-)

Another popular training spot is pig beach, just west of henesys. I dont suggest you go here as once you get in it is very hard to get out. This is also a very popular place and though it is good for earning experience it is very hard to kill all of the pigs.

Since I do not support this method of training, I will not say that you shouldn't go in it, in fact I went there from 17-21 but found it

to be very boring, but I will not list its location.

Level 23-30

From these levels, you should do nothing but Kerning city party quest. How to join? Well first know how it works.

Creating a party
Press "P" and click on create. Then right click on someone and click "Invite" (This can be done at any time, and if they collect

any mesos or experience you will earn a fraction of their, and vice versa (you must be above level 10 to do this)).

After you do this if they accept then they will be with you. make sure they are level 21 or more else they cant party quest.

Now get a total of four people and then you can enter.

Joining a party
Don't feel like making a party? Don't know how to do party quest? Go to chanel 1 and say "Joining PQ" And state your class and level.

Someone will invite you, and if you click on the circle then you will be in. Now if someone says "CC16" or something, that means you change to channel 16.

If you are too slow there is a good chance you will be expelled. Only 1 party can be in party quest in each channel at a time.
