Maplestory-road to pure luk sins

Guide-becoming a PURE LUK assasin
game=maplestory
job= Theif (assasin)
pure luk sins means having 25 dex (to become a theif) and then adding ALL the rest of your AP into luk

below is a comparison between normal dex sins and pure luk sins

pros= cheaper than dex sins
= be able to deal much more damage
= be able to deal much more damage
= be able to deal much more damage x50

cons= only has 25 dex so atk range is REAL big
= you are stuck with noob clothes forever =.=
= lower def because you cannot wear high level armor ..but your
sin so your longranged anyway.

beggining stats
this is the best begining stat for theifs but it might take a long time to get.
str=4
dex=*
int=4
luk=*

This is the easier version if a perfect theif (4str 4 int).MapleStory Power leveling You should not settle for anyother beggining stats.

str=4/5
dex=*
int=4/5
luk=*

Adding AP for PURE LUK sins
str=4/5 (keep at 4/5 FOREVER)
dex 25 (get 25 dex to become a thief then STAY AT 25)
int=4/5 (keep at 4/5 FOREVER)
luk=*** <=--- add ALL SP into LUK until u quit maple XD

Training
LVL 1-10 At maple island your damage is mostly based on STR so ..your
damage is LOW. Just bear with it until u get to lvl 10
(remeber you need 25 dex by lvl 10)

LVL 10-16 When you get the job advancement you'll notice your damage
is waaay better since now your damage is based on LUK.
Train on slimes, orange mushrooms, or snails.

LVL 17-20 These levels you wont even notice because your be killing
pigs. They give 15exp each and ribbon pigs are 20exp each.
Sins can jump atk so the terrain here is not bad for ksing.

LVL 21-30 From here on train at green mushrooms near elenia or go kill
horny mushrooms in the ant tunnel. After about lvl 25 you
should be easily 1-2 hitting Zombie mushrooms in the ant
tunnel.

CONGRATUALTIONS. go talk to Dark Lord at kerning and hunt 30 marble and bring back the Proof Of Hero to Dark Lord and there you go. YOU'RE A SIN NOW!!

MapleStory Jobs

Here is the lowdown on MapleStory jobs

Thieves:
The "pimpest" of all the classes, and decent damage (LOL) too. Personally sent by Satan, these homeys strive to be the stealthiest, most adaptable players in the game.

Bowmen:
Versatile and quick, these hombres use distance to their advantage in KSin' the mesos outta you.

They…wait a second! I don't really know what they do… I think they are only there because of Legolas…

Mages (or Magi):
As the most powerful of the four jobs,buy maple story powerleveling these gangstas take a lotta BS from people, but no worries, you can just rearrange their faces after you're done takin' down that Zakum to Chinatown.

Warriors:
The most dependable of the four classes, they use high HP to sidle alongside the enemy and bash him into something even a moll (mob queen) wouldn't associate herself with.

Well there it is. Choose wisely, for your story is their story...

MapleStory Fighter Starter Guide

In order to get a good starting fighter, you need to roll 4 intelligence and 4 luck. Strength and Dexterity can be anything, if you are lazy, put never let intelligence be any higher then 4,MapleStory Power leveling it is a waste to fighters.

Many Questions asked by noobs (not that you are one):
Q. Why is strength and dexterity so important while intelligence and luck isn't?

A 3 simple things:

Strength: Power of attacks
Dexterity: Higher it is, more armors you can use, more chance of hits, and more chances of dodging attacks.
Luck: although it gives you a higher chance for a drop, you will kill so much that you would have a higher chance.

Q What does AP stand for?

A AP stands for "ability point". Ability points are points that you put on certain stats, which include STR, DEX, INT, LUK, HP, and MP. You get 5 ability points every time you level up

Q What is SP?

A SP stands for "skill points". Skill points are points that you put on certain skills to activate or upgrade them. As a thief, you receive your first skill point at level 10 when you become a warrior and every level after 10 you receive 3 skill points.

Things needed to become a fighter:

Level: 10
Strength: 25

Making Mesos!

Introduction to the Guide
Are you jealous of all those pros getting like millions of mesos and showing off by trading and showing you their millions? Will, you can show your own million mesos by reading this guide for mesos!

So, You Wanna Make Mesos?
Well, do you? The key to making mesos is patience. If you don't have much patience, you can't really get a lot of money. For example, if you got an above average Mithril pole arm that you are selling, but no one wants to buy it yet, you should wait. If you successfully sell it, which is like 100k for an above average one, that's a good start. But if you give up and NPC it, you only get 25k! that is a 75k difference! Patience is the key to a good merchant.

Making Mesos by Merchanting
Well, like mentioned before, you need patience! PATIENCE! Yes, you do! Also, you have to be smart. For example, getting a lot of stuff people need like leather. Leather can be very useful for building equipments. If you NPC leather for 100 mesos each, it's not going to be very good. Instead, you should try selling the leathers to players for I'd say 150-200 mesos each.

Even though it only seems like you are making a 50 mesos profit, if you sell leathers in large quantities, you will make a very large amount of profit!!!!! You can also sell screws for 2k each and ores can sell for a lot too! Fame is also a nice thing to sell, priced around 2-7k depending on the player, Making profits off noobs are also good =D but I will get to that later...

Making Mesos by Hunting
This way is a lot harder than merchandising because you actually have to kill! This part is more about saving mesos than earning them, but i guess they're the same thing really 0_o! To save money here, you should fight monsters that you can kill in 1-2 hits CONSECUTIVELY!!! That means you ALWAYS 1-2 hit the monster and not 3, because that would be a waste of pots and time!!! Also, use your mana wisely. If a monster takes you 1 maxed Magic Claw to kill (20MP) and you can consistently kill the monster with 3 minimum leveled energy bolts, (6MP) and that is 20 mana versus 18 mana. That way, you are conserving 2 mana! Even if you think 2 mana is nothing, wait till you hear this! You regenerate mana every 10 seconds and let's say you cast a spell every second.

In 10 seconds, that's 20 mana! Wasted! If you regenerate 40 mana each time, you will only heal 20 instead! And let's not forget about Magic Guard (if you're a mage)! But if you cast 3 separate spells, that will take up 3 seconds to cast and and you will cast 3 spells in the 10 seconds and 6 x 10 is 60MP and 20 x 10 is 200MP!!! You kill less enemies this way, but you save a lot more money.

Also, hunt for monsters that have the most expensive NPC drop because you want to spend too much time advertising to sell stuff.

Making Mesos Some Other Ways
Well, this part includes quests and some creative ways to make mesos. I guess I'll talk about quests first... well. here are some quests that are pretty good for a beginner.

(lvl 10) Fixing Blakcbull's House

.Req: 30 branches and 40 firewood.
.Prize: Steel Shield or Red Triangular Shield.

This quest is very worthwhile because you can get a Red Triangular shield which is 25k! Do this quest when you are lvl 20 or buy the firewood for 15 mesos each.

(lvl 10) I Need Help On My Homework!

.Req: 10 slime bubble, 30 tree branch, 30 squishy liquid.
.Prize: 25 Blue Potions + 250 exp.

You can do this quest when you are lvl 10 and this quest is the 2nd best quest!

(lvl 10) The Reason Behind the Mushroom Studies

Req: 40 Orange Mushroom Caps, 10 Mushroom Spores.
Prize: 25 Red Potions + 300 exp.

I think also a fairly quest to do because this is very easy and you can get 25 pots which is saving 1250 mesos!

(lvl 10) I'm bored

.Req: 40 squishy liquid, 40 tree branch.
.Prize: 25 red potion, 15 blue potion + 250 exp.

To me, this is the Best beginner quest. It's fairly easy and you get a pretty good prize for such easy monsters to kill and easy questions to answer!

Meso Magnet FUN!
Leave your computer on for the whole night and go to Henesys Hunting grounds or any other place where monster drops land on the platform you are standing on Make sure you are in the first Hunting Ground. Go on a haystack where there are monsters below. For this you need meso magnet. Just stand on a haystack and go to bed. When you wake up... Voila! a few hundred thousand mesos! My friend once got 850k doing that!

Looting!
This is a very easy thing to do. All you have to do is go to a map where there is a pro killing monsters and not bothering to pick up the drops. All you have to do is run around picking up his items! It's better to have Meso Magnet here, but not a must-have item.

Party Stealing! (not recommended)
Make a party with some good Maplers and let them kill for you. This is a bad version of looting. WARNING: YOU MIGHT GET DEFAMED!

Tips
Try not to beg, it will only make people defame you and call you noob. Only beg if you know that person you're begging for or he's your buddy/guild member. I just can't say this enough... have PATIENCE! Don't be impatient. Also, don't play drop games!!! You will lose at least once and you will be PISSED! That once happened to me before and boy did I get PISSED! I actually reported that dude and I got suspended for a while :-P. You should set up a free market stall so you can do something else while waiting for an item to sell.

And here is my last tip for you... go into parties with hermits or ChiefDits, they can use a skills that makes enemies drop more mesos or drop mesos more often. Well, I guess that wasn't the last one, make good friends! Get friends that will help you when your broke and party with you and go hunting. Never get a friend that will just leech off you items and beg for potions and mesos.

Also, help noobs in need.MapleStory Power leveling If you even give them 100 mesos, they will love you. BTW, i don't scam noobs. I was kidding about making profits of noobs. They aren't that stupid you know! Some may have friends that can kick your butt and mass defame you!!! Never try to take advantage of ANYONE! It is an inhumane thing to do! well, I guess that's all the tips.

MapleStory Fighter/Page Build

This build is only affective if you followed the Dexterity = 2x your level and everything else on strength rule.

Ability Point Distribution
From level 30 - 35, put all the ability points towards strength. This is because at level 35, the "Dark Briggon" is a reward for "John"s present' Level 30 quest, and requires 125 strength to use.buy maple story powerleveling This is a good upgrade from the venon glove at level 20 (ugh).

Level 35 - 40, Make sure you have at least 130 strength at level 40 so you can use jangoon armor. Everything else on dexterity.

Level 40 - 50 By now, your dexterity should be 80. That should be pretty high so you can put everything on strength. You need it to use the shoulder mail at level 50.

Level 50 - 60 At level 60, you should have 210 strength and everything else on dexterity. You'll need the strength for the orientican/oriental items.

Level 60 - 70 By this point, stop adding dexterity, as your accuracy will be about 100 if you maxed mastery. So just focus on getting your strength to 240 first. You can spend the rest of the ability points on health points if you want as you should have about 3000 hp.

Skill Point Distribution
This is my order of skill point mastery:

Mastery > Final Attack > Threaten / Rage > Booster > Power Guard.

You can clean up some of your basic skills when you are done threaten / rage. Of course, this is optional.

MapleStory Spearman Build

This build will only list the skills. If you need the stat builds, please visit my fighter / page guide. Thanks, and enjoy!

Introduction
So, you want to be a spearman eh? Well, after all that work from level 1 ~ 30, I think you deserve to be one of the strongest classes in the game. Yes, that’s true : Dragon knights are one of the strongest classes in the game! With skills like dragon fury, dragon blood, and dragon roar, you are taking control of the strongest animal in the world! Not only that, but you can temporarily increase your hp and mp! The only down side is that you need A LOT of funding since the spears and pole arms, aren’t really cheap. Sure, you can buy everything in the Perion store, and El Nath store, but that only lasts up to level 40. You’ll have to buy from other characters to get your level 45 + Armour and spear / pole arm.

Skill Build
It is important to max a skill according to your spearman type. For example : If you’re a party spearman, you need to max hyper body as soon as possible. If you are a solo spearman, you need to max pole arm / spear mastery as soon as possible. So for an average spearman, this is the order of skills you should max:

Mastery > Hyper Body > Booster > Iron Will > Final Attack

Final attack isn’t important because its only just another attack. You can use power strike to do more damage and use booster to do it faster too. Hyper body is a number 1 priority because spearman don’t have a lot of defense, and level very quickly with a cleric / priest.MapleStory Power leveling You can kill and use hyper body while a cleric heals you. Clerics LOVE hyper body. That’s why a lot of people team up with you. They are the most wanted warriors in Ludibrium Party Quest

The History of Hacking in MapleStory

Hacking MapleStory has been easy to do since it's release. Hackers roam free doing as they please and ruining the game for others using a variety of cheats. Wizet of course then tried to do something about it by placing a guard this guard was called gameguard. It was supposed to prevent hackers from infiltrating the game but despite it's appearance hackers remain at large.

The more famous hacks were Godmode and Vac. Godmode basically prevents a player from taking damage from a monster in the game whereas any normal player would get hit and die. Vac allows the hacker to suck all the monsters to a designated place for the hacker to kill so as to level up faster. The combined uses of godmode and vac hack is a formidable one.

Bots aren't hacks but are used widely by hackers. Bots are programs that are supposed to do something over and over. For example, a hacker could use Godmode and Vac hack to become invincible and have the monsters near them but they might not want to take the time killing the monsters so they use a bot that attacks the monsters for them. There are some elements in the game that let's the player who clicks on something first to be accepted, them are called party or guild quests. Many players have got their hands on a auto-clicker that clicks for the player instead of clicking the mouse for potentially half an hour.

There are of course many other hacks that people use. There are speed hacks, jump hacks, speed attack, etc. Hackers could use these hacks to give themselves an huge advantage in the game. While Wizet has GM's out looking and banning these hackers, there are just too many of them to ban.MapleStory Power leveling Therefore, Wizet kept on trying to develop ways to prevent hacking instead of banning people.

Many players wondered why the opening screen of MapleStory went of Wizet to Nexon. I can tell you that Wizet has partnered or has been taken over by Nexon. I believe they have paired up and that's what resulted in a chain of upgrades not only to the game itself but also to the level of security. Having hacked MapleStory myself, I noticed that after the pairing with Nexon, MapleStory has been harder to hack and some of the hacks I couldn't use at all.

Every time there's a game upgrade the measures in which Nexon tried to detect and ban hackers increase. Now, there's been an auto-ban system in place that automatically bans anyone using godmode. Vacs have long since disappeared and I believe no one but the most advanced hackers has any hacks up their sleeves anymore.

Although Nexon has put all this together in a very short time and have reduced the number of hacks significantly I believe they have also discouraged a lot of the players from continuing with MapleStory. A lot of the players on MapleStory were hackers and now that they can't hack I don't think they know how to play MapleStory anymore.
